Avalon is located 2 hours west of Washington, DC, 2 1/2 hours from Baltimore, MD, 3 1/2 hours from Pittsburgh, PA. Situated equi-distant between I-81 at Winchester, VA and I-68 at Cumberland, MD, Avalon is probably closer and more convenient to you than you realize.

Detailed directions will be given to you when you make reservations to visit. Our front desk personnel have good, accurate information readily available to help you find your way to Avalon.

We strongly suggest that you don't try to find us via Internet or GPS programs. In fact, the folks who use those methods are the ones who take two or three times longer to find us than those who follow our specific instructions.
